Background
Dr. Lila Mularoni is a postdoctoral fellow who obtained her doctorate in clinical psychology from Spalding University in Louisville, Kentucky. She has provided therapeutic services and psychological evaluations in diverse settings including community mental health, autism specialized private practice, college counseling centers, and youth and family residential treatment facilities. Dr. Lila joined our practice after completing her internship at Vanderbilt University’s Counseling Center, where she worked with a variety of complex clinical needs within a goal-directed therapy model. Her clinical interests include conflict management, healthy communication, parenting, neurodivergence, anxious distress, and complex trauma.
For individual therapy, Dr. Lila enjoys working with children, adolescents, and young adults. She also has a passion for working with families and couples. Her therapeutic approach utilizes elements of emotionally focused therapy (EFT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), internal family systems (IFS), and Bowen’s family systems. Dr. Lila also has extensive experience in psychological evaluations for ADHD, ASD, mood disorders, learning disorders, diagnostic clarification, and a variety of other presenting concerns. In her free time, she enjoys taking dance lessons, hiking with her dog June, birding, and spending time with friends.
Dr. Lila Mularoni is supervised by Dr. Amanda Klingensmith and Dr. Nicole Wozniak.
